Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will proceed through passport control. You will be met by a Kotia Safaris Representative outside the arrival lounge and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay. The drive to Arusha is about 60 minutes. Enjoy a great meal and a relaxing evening before starting your three-day Tanzania safari the next morning.

You will begin your adventure by road for Tarangire National Park. The drive is about 2.5 hours. This is a breathtaking drive through the Maasai Steppe, with the beautiful African savannah and scenic rolling hills. Along the way we will have a packed lunch. We will enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park. This is the home of more than 3,000 elephants and is famous for the Baobab Trees (also nicknamed “the Trees of Life”). 

Following our afternoon game drive, we will continue by road to the Ngorongoro/Karatu Area (2-hour drive) for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast (or a packed breakfast), we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend the 600-metre-high walls to the floor of the Crater. This is one the World’s seven natural wonders and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is one of the most beautiful and unique places in the World. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife that includes not less than 27,000 plains animals that permanently reside in this Caldera. You might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Black Rhino. We will enjoy a game drive and lunch on the Crater floor before driving back to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an English breakfast, we will enjoy the scenery of the return drive back to Arusha, taking time for a brief visit to Lake Manyara National Park. This Park is within the Great Rift Valley. It has unparalleled scenery that is among the most spectacular in Africa. It’s known for its abundance and diversity of birds and the rare tree climbing lions. After the game drive we will proceed to Arusha and then on to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international departure. This will mark the end of our service.
